Hello! My name is Alexandra Cooney and I grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. I moved to Wilmington, North Carolina after high school to attend UNCW where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Behavior Psychology. I work with an amazing kindergarten team and my first year teaching, I was fortunate enough to be named Onslow County's Beginning Teacher of the Year.

In my free time I love spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, playing with my cat, and watching Pittsburgh Steelers football. Go Steelers! 

I am so excited to start my thard year teaching kindergarten at Meadow View Elementary School!
