JCMS Cheerleading

Tryouts for the 2024-2025 school year is TBD. Tryouts will be in the gym after school until 4:30pm, when they do occur. Any student wishing to tryout must do the following before they're able to step foot on the mats:
1. Be passing 3 out of 4 core classes and 1 elective class this semester.
2. Turn in a sports physical to Coach Sweet. The form can be found in the front office or on the JCMS Athletics Website.
3. Turn in a parental permission form for athletics to Coach Sweet, found in the front office or on the JCMS Athletics Website.
4. Attend the mandatory athletics meeting in April of 2024 in the gym (time/date TBD). This is a requirement for all students wishing to tryout for sports for the 2024-2025 school year.
Please note: students will find out if they made the cheer team at the end of each school year. If your child makes the team, please plan to attend the mandatory parent meeting at the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
