Hey there! I am a second grade teacher at Onslow Virtual Elementary School and I am so grateful to be a part of this team! I graduated from ECU in 2001 and have been lucky enough to teach K-2 for the last 21 years (aside from 2 years off with babies). I have 4 little ones at home. Everett, Ainsley, Easton, and Liam Elias...they are 11, 9, 7, and 5. Yes, you read that right. Haha! My husband Kelly and I went to college together and have been married for 13 years now. We also have 2 sweet pups...Hazel Grace and Wraith McCain. We live in Sneads Ferry and since my grandparents were from here, it has always been my landing spot...even though I was raised throughout Eastern North Carolina. I love reading...of course, beaching it, boating, knitting, and holding babies. All the babies. Lower grades are my favorite. The kids show more growth than any other grade in my opinion...though it is not always measured on paper. They are funny and view life with innocence and a matter of factness that makes every day a new adventure.
