Ms. Mary Solock

After graduating from high school in Onslow County I joined the Navy where I served for 8 years.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from UNC Wilmington and my Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University.  I have taught kindergarten for 3 years, first grade for 7 years, Reading Intervention for 2 years and Early Childhood Special Education for 2 years.  During my teaching career, I served in the Army National Guard where I retired.  I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten at Blue Creek Elementary.  During my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, sightseeing, going to the beach and spending time with my family.
