I was born in Olean, New York in 1974. I grew up in a military family and I have lived in Twentynine Palms, California, Okinawa, Japan, and Jacksonville, North Carolina. I am married to my best friend of 30 years. We met in church, christian-dated and we have 5 children and five grandchildren. We made Jacksonville our home because this is where we both met Jesus and made him the center of our lives.
Some of my favorite things:
Fellowshipping with my church family.
I like to find things to make me laugh.
Spending time with my grandsons
Going to the beach and long country drives (when my husband is driving)
Going fishing with my husband
Spending time with my daughters
Talking to my son in Alabama
Talking to my son in Tennessee
I love everything about Christmas, the scents, the shopping, the food, and spending time with my family. I love cooking on the holidays. Christmas is the best time of year.
My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the "Ah Ha" moments when students finally catch something that they did not understand. I taught 3rd grade for five years and loved it. I moved up to 4th grade to teach Math and Science and this year I am teaching all subjects in fourth grade.
