I am a native of Onslow County and attended Onslow County Schools growing up; Summersill Elementary, Northwoods Park Jr. High (now Middle) School and graduated from Jacksonville High School.  I am happily married to my husband of 29 years, who is also a native of Onslow County.  We have 3 wonderful children, and two extaordinary daughters-in-law.  Both of our sons and their wives graduated from Campbell University and both sons now serve as firefighter/EMTs.    Our daughter is a junior at Campbell University majoring in Elementary Education.  Go Camels!  We are very involved in our church where my husband and I both serve as Sunday School teachers, working with missions, and I am a sound tech.  We love spending time  together as a family, whether it is out on the boat or in the mountains or just hanging out together.

I graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and taught for 23 years at Summersill Elementary.  I received 2 Masters degree from East Carolina University; one in Elementary Education and one in Instructional Technology.  This is my 9th year serving as a Digital Learning and Teaching Facilitator (DLTF)  I absolutely love working with children and being a DLTF.  As i begin my 32nd year as an educator, I could not be more excited about this school year.  I truly believe this is going to be the best yet!
