Ms. Jaymee Sigafose

Hi there!

My name is Jaymee Sigafose and I am a 1st grade teacher here at Parkwood Elementary School.

I am a military child so I was raised all over the United States, but I am a Swansboro High School graduate and am so happy to be back in the area for my teaching career.

I attended North Carolina State University to obtain my teaching degree- Go Pack!! Graduate school is in the plans... eventually!

This is my 6th year of teaching. I have experience in kindergarten and in 2nd grade, but I love 1st grade life SO much!

Fun Facts About Me:

- I have a dog named Gronk and I sure do love the New England Patriots! (Hence his name!!)

- Dr. Pepper is my favorite drink along with iced coffee! 

- My students (and everyone) know me for my love of all things leopard / cheetah prints! I have even been working hard on turning my classroom into all things jungle themed!

- Watermelon sour patches and anything with milk chocolate are my candy go-to's! 

- Cinderella is my favorite princess and I love the idea of fairytales.

- I love mint / teal / aqua / anything light blue! BUT I also think light and hot pinks are such great colors too!

I can't wait to get to teach and know and love all the kiddos who enter my classroom door!
