Mrs. Heather Duane MSN, RN, NCSN
Originally from Montana, I graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1985. In the Spring of 2011 I finished up a Masters in Nursing education degree from East Carolina University and currently teach online as Adjunct Faculty at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I have practiced in a variety of practice settings to include Critical Care, Radiology, Emergency Room Nursing, Urgent Care settings and in school year 2000 stumbled on School Nursing while living in Illniois.
I was welcomed by Clyde Erwin teachers and staff in the Fall of 2007 and have been taking care of the health needs of Clyde Erwin students and staff since then. I also serve the health needs of New Bridge Middle School.
My husband and I are parents of two wonderful grown young women. We are officially empty nesters but enjoy the company of a Springer Spaniel, Roxie and a stray cat with an original name, Kitty.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns for your child. I look forward to working with you to meet the health needs of your child. Students learn best when they are healthy physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
