Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Tiffany Huie
Welcome to the Eastern North Carolina Regional Skills Center! I am so excited to be the Career Development Cooridnator for such an amazing program.
I graduated from Dixon High in 2006 and continued my education at UNC-Chapel Hill from 2006 - 2010. I am a die-hard, born and bred Tarheel through and through and you will find me often sporting my Carolina Blue during basketball season! After graduation from UNC-Chapel Hill I attended graduate school at East Carolina University from 2011 - 2013 and graduated from ECU with a Masters in Counselor Education with a focus in School Counseling. In August 2012 I was hired as a School Counselor at Swansboro Middle School where I was a Pirate for six years until the end of the 2017-2018 school year.
In June of 2018 I switched roles into that of Career Development Coordinator and I now share time between Dixon High School and the Eastern North Carolina Regional Skills Center. Even during my years as a school counselor, I always felt that career development was so important to our students and now as a CDC it is something I get to focus on everyday! If you have any questions regarding future options, career paths, job shadowing, internships, work based learning, or any other career-related topics, I'm more than excited to talk with you about any of those topics! I also call Onslow County home with my husband, Chris, who also graduated from Dixon, and our three fur-babies (cats), Keke, Little, and Bellamy.
