Mr. Mowell, Floyd

Hi and welcome to my Home Page. My name is Floyd Mowell, I’m currently the Occupational Course of Study Program Exceptional Children teacher here at RHS. This will be my sixth year at RHS as a Special Education teacher and I'm very excited for this upcoming school year. Prior to deciding on making teaching my second career choice, I spent 22 years in the Marine Corps. My wife and I are originally from North Eastern North Carolina, so after my retirement from service we decided to remain in the Onlsow County area.  My wife also works in the Exceptional Children department as an EC Program Coach for Onslow County schools. We have three sons, all which have now graduated high school and are pursuing higher education oppertunities at NC State, Wake Tech and Coastal Carolina Community Clollege. As a family we enjoy being outside and camping in our RV every chance we can. I want to thank you for visiting my Homepage and look forward to a wonderful school year.
