Mrs. Costa

Welcome to 2nd Grade!  My name is Kimberly Costa.  I am so excited about being your child's teacher this year.  This is my 17th year teaching in Onslow County and my 11th year in 2nd grade.  I consider this grade my "happy place." Teaching has always been my passion since I was a little girl and I always knew that this is what I wanted to do in life.   I feel so blessed to still be doing what I love and all the support from families and friends along the way.  I have made many forever friendships with students and families along the way.

A little about myself- I am happily married to my husband, Devin, and we have 3 children; Mason (12) and twin girls, Brooklynn and Brinley (7).  Outside of school, we are a very busy family and always on the go!  You will usually find us at some kind of ballfield for a game or practice.  If we aren't there, you can find me at a dance studio or gym for our little gymnast.  In the little bit of spare time I have, and that's usually late at night or waiting in the car for practices to be over, I love to surf Pinterest for fun things to do with my sweet kiddos in school and listen to true crime podcasts!  My hobbies include shopping, crafting for my little "side gig", and spending time at home binge watching ALL the TV dramas!
