Ms. Joslyn Byrd

My name is Joslyn Byrd. and I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran. I am a graduate from Mount Olive University, where I received my Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education.  One year after graduation. I made the choice to go back to school, receiving my Masters Degree in Psychology. While in school, I worked with NC Pre-Kindergarten Programs for 10 years, as a Teacher Assistant, and as an Administrator. I transitioned to the Onslow County School System as a Teacher Assistant for three years. Currently, I am officially working as an Exceptional Teacher for 7th and 8th grade! I am looking forward to experiencing the learning and growth from all of my students, and the students at JCMS! Go Knights!
