  • 2022- 2023 Registration Process

Below is the timeline of the registration process. Please see the links to the left for the applicable materials. Be mindful of the associated grade level. NC graduation requirements are changing and currently different grade levels require different requirements. The registration process does not guarantee a schedule for the 22-23 school year. This process is to help inform our decisions and plan. A schedule may be requested, but it will depend on availability. We will not know the matrix for 22-23 until July. Schedule changes can be requested during the first 10 days of the semester. Students requesting early release will need to have their license or extenuating circumstances and consistent transportation at the time of request

    Counselor Information

Yulissa Balsamo - rising 11th and 12th graders

Courtney Abadiotakis - rising 10th and 11th graders

    Registration Timeline

    March 1st - 25th - Transcript Audit

Students will recieve physical copies of their transcripts and work in homeroom to complete the graduation checklist to help them plan for next year's classes and/or post graduation plans.

    March 28th, 29th, and 30th - Registration Information

Students will view an overview of the current available courses by grade level. Please refer to the chart below. Students will receive registration form links at the conclusion of these meetings. They are encouraged to use their transcript, course guide, and graduation checklist to inform their decisions. Please work with your child to complete these forms. We need these forms completed prior to the individual meetingsThese forms help structure our conversations around what you and your child would like to do.

    April 1st - 1:1 Registration Meetings

Counselors will begin meeting with students with completed registration forms. Students may continue to submit forms at this time. Meetings will be prioritized by grade level, starting with rising seniors.

    Special Considerations

    • Students who attend the Skills Center will have their meetings during 1st or 4th period on March 25th. Students who missed their initial registration meeting may attend. However, their transcripts may not be available until their information session the following week.
    • Parents who wish to attend their students' registration meeting may do so. Your child's registration form must still be completed. You can email Ms. Balsamo or Mrs. Abadiotakis to schedule the meeting.
