My name is  Janitza Guerrero Acosta and I am an international Spanish teacher from Barranquilla, Colombia.

Degrees and Certifications: BA with Education in Foreign Languages (English- Spanish), Specialization in the Teaching of English, MA in the Teaching of English

I have been a passionate English- Spanish teacher for 24 years. One of my best experiences was supporting the Ministry of Education of my country being a co-author of the Suggested English Curriculum from Transition to 5th grade for all public schools in Colombia. 

After having many things done in my country regarding teaching and learning, I decided to move forward to live an international experience providing a new opportunity to learn many things about the Hispanic culture to Swansboro High students  and for me to live an enriching experience, as well.
