Undergraduate Degree from East Carolina University in the Fall of 2002.
Master's Degree from University of North Carolina Wilmington in the Spring of 2009.

Bio:

I am in my 19th year of teaching for Onslow County. For the first 6 years of my career here I had the wonderful experience of teaching Kindergarten. To begin my 7th year I was asked to fill my school's need for an additional 1st grade position. After completing my second year of teaching 1st Grade I was asked again to change grade levels. Third Grade welcomed me onto their team. Eight years ago I returned to my roots...Kindergarten! And now, I am in my sixth year teaching 1st Grade. Looking forward to working with my team to help our students excel as we continue to build on the Leader In Me mindset.  

Professional Accomplishments:
*Nominated as a Teacher of the Year for the 2007-2008, 2010-2011, 2014-15, & 2015-16 school years.(Was the 2016-17 school year Teacher of the Year)
