Welcome Falcons to Mrs. Hass's Class! 

I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. I moved to Wilmington in 2017 to attend the University of North Carolina - Wilmington after two years at Wake Tech Community College.  I graduated from UNCW in December of 2019 with my Bachelor's in Physical Education and Health. While at UNCW, I was a member and president of the PE & Health Majors Club and was rewarded with Most Outstanding Graduate of the program.

I completed my student teaching in Fall of 2019 at Laney High School. Post graduation in December 2019, I began teaching at Trexler in January. I am continuing my education to get my Masters of Education in Physical Education and Health at UNCW on their online program and will be graduating in Spring 2023.

I am happy to say I am Trexlers Cheerleading Coach. I grew up participating in competitive cheerleading, I started at 4-years-old and continued up into college. I am eager to see what this year brings us. 

While not working, I enjoy being in the outdoors hiking, exercising or hanging with my dog (Axel) or snuggled up on the couch with my cat (Riggins)! I am extremely family oriented and have a huge family with many step-siblings on both sides.

My husband and I welcomed our daughter into the world in September. Needless to say, when not at school, my hands are full with a little one :)
