Mr. Philip Morris

Hello, my name is Mr. Philip Morris.  I was born in Whidby Island, WA in 1974.  I grew up in Michigan where I completed High School and received a Bachelor's of Science in Geographical Information Systems from Central Michigan University.  I attended college at Central Michigan University, where I attended Army ROTC and graduated in 2003.  Upon graduation, I spent the last 13 years focusing on my military career.  Even though the military has been my life, being a teacher has always been my life-long dream.  In 2016, I was accepted into University of North Carolina-Wilmington to receive my Masters in Teaching.  On December 9, 2017, I graduated with my degree and have been teaching 3rd grade at Blue Creek Elementary since the 2021-2022 school year.  This year I will be the Science/Social Studies for the 4th Grade students and excited for this opportunity.  The experience has been everything I expected and more and I am truly looking forward to learning and growing up with our students for years to come.
