Mrs. Thompson

Hello! My name is Mrs. Thompson, and I am a resource teacher for grades K-2 and EC Lead here at Silverdale Elementary! I am so excited to get to work with my EC students in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a certification in Special Education in 2019. I live in Jacksonville, NC with my husband and our 2-year-old puppy Hemi. I am originally from New Hampshire; and moved to NC in 2020 with my husband who is a Logistic Officer in the USMC. I love to spend time outside, walking at the beach, watching the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox with my family. I am so excited about all of the fun that will be have together at Silverdale this year!
