Ms. Abi Medellin

Hello! My name is Abigail (Abi) Medellin, and I am so excited to be at Southwest Elementary teaching second grade. I am originally from Middle Tennessee, but moved here 5 years ago and fell in love with living by the ocean. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Throughout high school and college, I taught tap, jazz, and ballet classes, which is where I first fell in love with teaching. In my spare time you can find me at the beach or with my dog, Aspen. I can't wait to spend the next school year in second grade!
