ABOUT ME:

I have been in education for 26 years now working as a middle school math teacher, middle and elementary assistant principal, elementary principal, district technology coach, private company computer science teacher, and now as an instructional coach. I have worked in center-city Charlotte, suburban Charlotte, small-town in South Carolina, and nationally writing computer science curriculum and teaching that curriculum in NC, SC, KY, and CA. I've seen a lot over the years and have been in a lot of different types of schools. I say all of that to really say I love education and I love what I do. Getting to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities is my life passion.

I want students to succeed at school not just to get good grades, but to be prepared for whatever life throws at them as they grow. It is my hope that students I teach and interact with grow to be highly successful in life--however they define success. If I can be of help, please reach out at the email above.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family (my wife and three sons), spending time at the beach, watching movies or TV, or just relaxing.
