Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Limbert

Hello there! I am new to the nest at Carolina Forest! This is my fourth year teaching in North Carolina Public schools and my sixth year in education. I have experience from volunteering in the Boys & Girls Club, teaching is childcare facilities, and in Wilson, Pitt, and Onslow county schools. I have taught infants, toddlers, pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First grade. This will be my first year teaching in the upper elementary grades; however, I know that we will be able to dig deep into interesting content! I believe in relating the standards to exciting topics across the subjects to give students the  opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge.

I am a Richlands High School alumni, class of '07. I am also a United States Marine, where I worked with data systems for 5 years. After deciding to go back to school, I graduated in 2015 with my Associate's degree with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and went on to East Carolina University and graduated in 2017 with my Bachelor's Degree in Birth through Kindergarten. I became additionally licensed to teach all of elementary education in 2018.

I live in Richlands and enjoy the "country" vibe. Life is slower out there. I love spending time with my husband and three children. We also have three dogs and two ferrets. There is never a dull moment in my house! When I'm not teaching, planning, and prepping I enjoy crafting, fishing, and swimming at the beach.
