Mrs. Limbert

Hello there! I am so excited about being your teacher this year at Carolina Forest! This is my sixth year teaching in North Carolina Public schools and my eighth year in education. I have experience from volunteering in the Boys & Girls Club, teaching in childcare facilities, and in Wilson, Pitt, and Onslow County schools. I have taught infants, toddlers, pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First grade, and Third Grade. This will be my third year teaching in the upper elementary grades; however, I know that we will be able to dig deep into interesting content! I believe in relating the standards to exciting topics across the subjects to give students the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge.

I am a Richlands High School alumni, class of '07. I am also a United States Marine, where I worked with data systems for 5 years. After deciding to go back to school, I graduated in 2015 with my Associate's degree with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and went on to East Carolina University and graduated in 2017 with my Bachelor's Degree in Birth through Kindergarten. I became additionally licensed to teach all of elementary education in 2018. I am also currently enrolled and attending courses in the Master of Education in Elementary Mathematics graduate program at East Carolina University.

I love spending time with my husband and three children. We also have three dogs. The kids keep me on my toes, but the dogs are always stepping on them! When I'm not teaching, planning, and prepping I enjoy crafting, fishing, and swimming at the beach.
