-Hi all, my name is Mr. Virgil Flint and I am an Exceptional Child teacher here at Southwest High School home of the Stallions.  This is my fourth year working here, my first year was hurricane Florence, following Covid we worked through the cohorts and online schooling.  To say it is exciting and challenging would be an understatement.  I am looking forward to a somewhat "normal" year and meeting some new student faces.  Let's get class of 2022 garduated and starting their professional lives.  Go Stallions! 

-As you look at my schedule on our homepage, you will see that I am primarily in English classes this year. I am placed in the classes that I am needed in or to support the students and work with the general education teachers in reaching out and setting up the students for the best success possible. 

-I personally don’t require any specialized materials, but I would advise that you contact your content specific teacher for that list.   

-I look forward to interacting with all the students this year and look forward to tackling new challenges head on.
