I am thrilled to have the privilege to see all of our K-5 Gators this year during our Physical Education blocks! It is so exciting to see the enthusiasm that our entire HCES Family has for physical fitness!

Hobbies - Some of my personal interests include working-out, going on trips with my family, and watching sports. I am a New York Giants, Knicks, and Yankees Fan.  I also love to cheer for UNC TAR HEELS!!!

Family - I have a lovely wife, Jackie of 32 years and three children; Isaiah a senior at Methodist University, and Jeremiah and Jazlyn twins, who are juniors at Swansboro High School.

Experience / Other Schools - This is my 8th year in Education since I retired from the military and my first year as a Physical Education Teacher. However, I have over 20 years as a Youth Sports Coach and Personal Trainer. I have worked,

I absolutely love working with young men and women, guiding, and mentoring their young minds. These kids are our future, and WE ALL need to do our part in helping develop them into successful citizens.

Philosophy - I do not perceive Physical Education as an organized recess.  My responsibilities as a Physical Education teacher are, in my opinion, among the most important in the school.  I firmly believe all of my students are special and possess a wide variety of talent and skills.  It is my mission to expose my students to a wide variety of activities, so as to encourage them to discover and enhance these skills.
