Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Keli Decker. I have an Associate of Arts degree from Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education (K-12) from Western Governor’s University. I also carry certifications in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL) and Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) from TEACH International. I served in the United States Marine Corps as a small computer systems specialist from 1995 to 1999 and I have two children ages nineteen and seven.
My teaching experience ranges from teaching basic computer operations in an after school program to extensive computer maintenance and network administration in the Marine Corps. I have taught students of all ages ranging from Kindergarten through 60 years old. I have also taught English both in Hiroshima, Japan and in a virtual learning platform for students in China. I am very excited to join the JCMS team of wonderful teachers and staff and very much look forward to working with you and your family.
