    *10th and 11th Grade students interested in signing up for the PSAT please see Mrs. Williams in the testing office in the first building during lunch or after school.  

    *Science National Honor Society is now considering new members for the 2018/2019 school year.  Applicants must be juniors or seniors and enrolled either fall or spring semester in an upper-level science class. Upper level science classes include AP Environmental Science, Chemistry, and any of the IB science classes.   Applicants must have an overall 3.5-grade point average in the sciences and an overall unweighted 3.0-grade point average.  Please see Mrs. Withers or Mrs. Hall for an application.  Students must be willing to attend regular monthly meetings and commit to 40 service or extracurricular hours in the sciences either within the community or within our school.  These hours must be completed by May 15, 2019.  Applications must be submitted by September 21, 2018.

    *Freshmen interested in running for a freshman class officer position on student council must attend a short informational meeting in Ms. Beard's room on Friday, September 7 right after school (2:20). Applications will be available for pick up at that time.

Good News Spotlight

    Congratulations to Victoria Gibson, Madison Grifaldo and Elijah Meyer for being selected to participate in the NCMEA Honors Choir performing in Winston Salem in November. 

    We also have the #1 Alto 2 in the State 

     

    The Lady Cards clinched their 4th straight 3-A Coastal Conference Tennis Title making that the 6th title out of the last 7 years!! 

     

    JV Football is now 5-0 and 2-0 in the Conference

     

    JV Soccer had a strong win over Swansboro 2-0
