Board Meeting Schedule

Since 2017, OCS has used the BoardDocs eGovernance school board meeting management software to share board meeting agendas, materials, and videos.

We are excited to announce that OCS has adopted Diligent Community as our new board management software. This platform is designed to help keep our community more connected, informed, and engaged by offering improved access to important information and streamlined processes.

The platform allows you to explore meeting agendas, minutes, policies, and other documents through a new, easy-to-use public site linked here: https://onslow-k12-nc.community.diligentoneplatform.com/Portal/(link opens in a new tab).

Note: The November 4, 2025 BOE Meeting will be available on both Diligent Community and BoardDocs. Beginning with our January 6,  meeting, information will be posted exclusively on Diligent Community.

To access BOE Meeting materials through BoardDocs:

• Go to OCS BoardDocs
• Select option to "Enter Public Site"
• Choose "School Board" or "School Funding Committee" from drop-down menu in upper right-hand corner

Meetings from September 11, 2007 through April 24, 2017, are available online in the OCS Board of Education Archives.

Regular monthly meetings of the Onslow County Board of Education are held at the Eastern North Carolina Regional Skills Center located at 261 Northwest Corridor Blvd., Jacksonville, NC. beginning at 6:00 pm.

Special meetings of the Onslow County Board of Education are held as needed throughout the year.
