Selections for the Onslow County Schools Preschool Program are ongoing throughout the school year.

• Our blended program provides several PreK services with different requirements, which means selections for each program area are conducted at different times throughout the summer. 

• Once the new school year begins, we will continue to select new children for our program as open slots are available throughout the school year.

Preschool Application Information

Preschool applications are shared between Onslow County School (OCS) and One Place. Therefore, families only need to complete one application per child. 

Parents/families are encouraged to apply if:

• Your child lives in the Onslow County School District. Proof of residency is required.

• Your child is 4 on or before August 31st (for all programs).

• Your child is 3 on or before August 31st (for selected Head Start slots).

• All children with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Preschool applications are accepted all year long and children may be selected at any time throughout the school year as long as he/she is on the wait-list.
