Ms. Julie Church

About Me:

I have lived in North Carolina all my life. I was born and raised in Asheboro (where the zoo is) and moved to Onslow County in 2017. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and in 2015 with a Master's degree in Child Development and Family Relations (where I also studied abroad in New Zealand and Australia). I received my AIG Licensure from UNCW in 2019 and my Curriculum Instructional Specialist certification in May 2021. I am currently working towards a Master's degree in Counselor Education at ECU to become a school counselor and a Licsenced Clincial Mental Health Counselor. This will be my 8th year in education. I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, 3rd-5th grade AIG, and K-2 Talent Development. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy making shirts and decals with my cricut, running, reading, going to the beach, and playing with my dogs, Gunner & Bruce.
