OCS Announces Administrative Changes

As OCS prepares for the upcoming school year, Superintendent Dr. Barry Collins announces the following administrative changes, approved by the Onslow County Board of Education at their April 5, 2022 meeting.

Dr. Collins would also like to thank the following principals for their many years of service to OCS – Colin Smith, Dixon High; Gena Misciagno, Heritage Elementary; Tim Foster, Southwest High; Jane Dennis, New Bridge Middle; Lynn Jackson, Northside High; and, Leigh Bizzell, Dixon Middle. All have announced they will be retiring or moving on to different opportunities at the end of the current school year.

All new administrative assignments will be effective July 1, 2022.

The new principal of Clear View Elementary will be Denise Gartner, and her move was approved at the Board's March meeting. She currently serves as principal of Sand Ridge Elementary and her administrative transfer to Clear View Elementary is effective June 1, 2022.
