OCS Kicks Off 2023-2024 United Way Campaign

United Way Logo

The Onslow County Schools United Way Campaign for the 2023-2024 school year is underway!

Each year, OCS asks its employees to donate to United Way of Onslow County, which provides funding for programs and agencies across our county. Programs supported by United Way include the CHEW program, which provides food for students in need, the Onslow women’s center, Sponsors for Academic Talent, Onslow Community Outreach, and more.

On Friday, September 29, OCS distributed campaign materials and took the time to recognize those who made the 2022-2023 campaign such a success.

During last year’s campaign, OCS employees pledged nearly $138,000 that would go toward funding assistance and opportunities for those in need in the Onslow County community. We are proud to serve as the largest donor to United Way each year, as community is at the heart of all we do.

The success of our campaigns relies solely on the dedication of our staff, and this year, we were honored to recognize the following schools and individuals for going above and beyond.
