Report - Week of October 14-18, 2019
Dear Parents,
I hope you had a great weekend! I will be posting times and dates for availability for conferences ASAP.
Below you will find information about our classroom/school happenings as well as what students will be working on this week. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a wonderful week!
Here is what we are working on this week:
Math: This week students will be learning about data – representing and interpreting information in a frequency table, picture graph, and bar graph. We will continue to review multiplication/division facts.
Reading: Our focus this week will be character traits – describing characters in a story and explaining how their actions contribute to the sequence of events
Science: We will be doing the skeleton. Students will be working on a project where they will be asked to label the skeleton and write about it.
Social Studies: This week, students will learn about various water/landforms (mountains, valleys, island, peninsulas, etc.).
Word Study: Students will be learning how to pluralize words ending in ch, s, sh,x. Spelling test will be on Friday.

- Thursday, October 17th– Early Release. Students dismiss at 12:00pm.
- Friday, October 18th– Fall Festival from 5-7pm
