A Transition Person is someone who replaces reactive, unhealthy, or harmful behaviors with proactive, helpful, and effective behaviors. A Transition Person models positive behavior and passes on effective habits that strengthen and build others in positive ways.

Below is the link to the LIM Workbook lesson on Transition Person (p.20-21). Read the story on Nelson Mandela, who was a great example of a Transition Person. His behavior helped change the country of South Africa for the better. Then answer the two questions on the next page.
Remember, you CAN be a Transition Person by modeling leadership. When others see your example, you influence them to be leaders too. That is how one person can change the world, like Nelson Mandela.
