The words and language you use give people a "window" into who you are. Habit 1: Be Proactive teaches that you are in charge of your thoughts, actions, and words. Your words say much about the type of leader you are.
Proactive Language accepts responsibility.
Reactive Language give responsibility away.

Remember, every day you have many opportunities to choose proactive or reactive language. Proactive language gives you the power to take ownership of your attitude and choices.
